Malachi Devon Davis
East Kingston - Malachi Devon Davis, 21, of East Kingston died Monday, February 29, 2016 as the result of injuries from a motor vehicle accident in Kensington.
He was born in Exeter, NH on December 2, 1994 the son of Jennifer E. Davis and Jeremiah H. Rubera.
Malachi was a member of the Exeter High School Class of 2013. A free spirit, he enjoyed the outdoors and worked as both a snowboard and zip line instructor. He was a talented athlete who not only shred on the mountains but also shone on the soccer fields. He loved people and animals and shone brightest when helping. He had a passion for supporting those with developmental delays having volunteered for the Special Olympics. He had a contagious smile that was always on his face and was very devoted to his mother.
In addition to his parents, he is survived on his mother's side by his loving, devoted grandfather, James Davis, his aunt Gretchen (Davis) McCarthy and her husband, James, cousins Evan, Zachary, Kyle and Jamison, and many loving aunts, uncles, and cousins. He was predeceased by his grandmother Carol Davis in 2002. On his father's side he is survived by his sister, Amicus, and a multitude of loving aunts, uncles and cousins.
Visiting hours will be Saturday from 1-4 PM at the Stockbridge Funeral Home, 141 Epping Road, Exeter. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited. A Celebration of his life will be held Sunday at 1 PM at the Funeral Home. Donations in his memory can be made to the Special Olympics of New Hampshire, 650 Elm Street, Manchester, NH 03101. Burial will be private.
