Carol C. Cross
Brentwood – Carol C. Cross, 81, a resident of over 60 years of Brentwood died Thursday, November 24, 2016 at the Rockingham County Nursing Home.
She was born January 11, 1935 in Billerica, MA the daughter of the late Leon Chase and Ruth (Sproel) Roger.
She was a graduate of Howe High School and the New Hampshire Vocational School.
She worked for Dr. Kelly Bates as an LPN for many years and was a former member of the Eastern Star.
She was the wife of the late Irving S. Cross, Jr.
Family members include her children, Kenneth A. Cross of Brentwood, Marcia E. Sparks and her husband, Kenneth of Punta Gorda, FL, Tammy L. Bakie and her husband, Peter of Kingston and Pamela C. Schaaff and her partner, Peter Keeley of Exeter, six grandchildren and eight great grandchildren, her siblings, Melodie R. Connolly and Richard Rogers.
She was predeceased by her brother, Kingsley Rogers.
The family would like to thank all the staff AT Rockingham County Nursing Home for their professional and compassionate care of their mother, during her struggle with Alzheimer’s Disease.
A Celebration of her life will be held at the Stockbridge Funeral Home, 141 Epping Road, Exeter, Wednesday at 10:30 AM. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited and may visit with the family Tuesday at the funeral home from 5-7 PM. Family flowers only. If desired donations may be made to Efforts, 119 North Road, Brentwood, NH 03833. Burial will be in the Ladd Cemetery, Brentwood.
