Gerald F. “Bucky” Creeden
East Hampstead – Gerald F. “Bucky” Creeden, 83, of East Hampstead formerly of Exeter died Thursday, March 12, 2015 at the Exeter Hospital.
He was born December 14, 1931 in Manchester, NH to the late Jeremiah and Mary (Lefave) Creeden.
He was raised in Manchester and was a graduate of Manchester Central High School. He lived for many years in Exeter, before moving to East Hampstead. He was a Veteran of the US Army serving during the Korean Conflict.
He was a graduate of New Hampshire Technical Institute where he received a degree in Mechanical Engineering. He worked for Western Electric as a Safety Supervisor for 28 years. After retiring, he enjoyed working as a bailiff at the Rockingham County Courthouse.
He loved golfing and was a member of the Exeter Country Club for many years. He will be remembered for his quick wit, his humor and contagious smile.
He was a loving husband, father and grandfather.
Family members include his wife of 26 years, Brenda J. (Hodgman) Creeden, his children, Jeffrey Creeden and his wife, Melanie, Catherine Blaisdell and her husband, Dan, Julie Cuvellier and her husband, David, Kelley Downs and her partner, John Beagley, his seven grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren.
He was predeceased by his four siblings.
A Celebration of his life will be held at the Stockbridge Funeral Home, 141 Epping Road, Exeter, this Saturday, March 14th at 11 AM. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited and may visit with the family from 10 AM Until the hour of the service. Family flowers only.
