Irene E. Cote
Exeter - Irene E. Cote, 63, of Exeter died Tuesday, November 10, 2009 at the Exeter Hospital surrounded by her family.
A lifelong resident of Exeter she was born July 3, 1946 the daughter of the late Joseph Camire and Irene (Welch) Bartlett of Brentwood.
Mrs. Cote was raised in Exeter and attended Robinson Female Seminary. She worked for many years as a certified nursing assistant for the former Goodwin's of Exeter and the Rockingham County Nursing Home.
She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother. She was an animal lover especially for her two cats, Molly and Mandy.
Mrs. Cote was very devoted to her patients that she cared for in the local nursing homes.
Family members include her husband Wayne M. Cote, her children, Kevin Freeman and his wife, Kelly, Bill Freeman and his wife, Christine, Donna White and her husband, Bob, Michelle Prince and her husband, Darren, Kimberly Ambrose and her husband, Eric, 11 grandchildren, 1 great grandchild, her brothers, Joseph Camire and John Camire, her sisters, Judy Richard and Ruth Welch.
Mrs. Cote was predeceased by her sister Joanne Archer.
Services will be held at the Stockbridge Funeral Home, 141 Epping Road, Exeter, Saturday at 5 PM. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited and may call at the funeral home, Saturday from 3 PM until the hour of the service. Private burial will be in the Exeter Cemetery. If desired donations may be made to the American Cancer Society, 30 Speen Street, Framingham, MA 01701-9376.
