Dennis E. Costich
Costich, Dennis Edward (a.k.a. Jocko)
Born March 25, 1941, passed suddenly November 15, 2014. Survived by his wife of 48 years, Mary (Asip); children, Suzanne (John) Cordeiro, Matthew (Colleen) Costich, Jennifer (Brian Sr.) Mayall; grandchildren, Taylor and Brian Jr. Mayall, Christopher and Sarah Costich, Staci (Andrew) Ream, Ryan Cordeiro (Jenelle Licalsi); great-grandchildren, Lia and Landon Ream, Cameron Cordeiro; sisters, Priscilla (Jack) LeBrun, Prudence Schmidt; brother, Alan Costich; mother-in-law, Virginia Asip; and many dear family members and friends.
Dennis was born in Rochester, New York, attended McQuaid Jesuit High School, graduated from St. John Fisher College, and earned a Masters Degree from the Rochester Institute of Technology. Dennis was employed for several years in the materials management field in New York, Massachusetts and New Hampshire. Dennis also helped with tax preparation for AARP and did technical inspection for various vintage sportscar racing associations. Dennis was consummate volunteer. He was a Knight of Columbus of the Fourth Degree and was very active in the Catholic Church, St. Vincent de Paul Society and the Boy Scouts of America.
Calling hours will be held on Friday, November 21st from 5 to 8 pm at the Stockbridge Funeral Home, 141 Epping Road, Exeter, NH. The funeral mass will be on Saturday, November 22nd at 11 am at St. Michael Parish, 9 Lincoln Street, Exeter, NH. Interment will be at the Exeter Cemetary after which there will be a reception at St. Michael Parish. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be directed to the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation, St. Vincent de Paul Society, or to a charity of one's choice.
