Alan R. Clough
Brentwood – Alan R. Clough, 63, of Brentwood died Thursday, April 5, 2012 at the Exeter Hospital.
He was born June 3, 1948 in Jamaica Plain , the son of the late Arnold and Lillian (Abdalian) Clough.
He was raised in Sharon, MA and was a graduate of Sharon High School and attended Massasoit Community College. He worked for several area Fire Systems Companies in Massachusetts. He had lived in Brentwood since 1988.
Alan was a very generous and compassionate man who loved to discuss any topic. He was a wizard with tools and went out of his way to help his neighbors and friends during times of need. An enthusiastic volunteer in the Brentwood community, he especially enjoyed the Brentwood Trails committee. He was an avid reader and loved politics.
Family members include his wife of 42 years, Jean T. Clough of Brentwood, his brothers, Gary Clough of NV and Wayne Clough of MA.
Services will be held at the Stockbridge Funeral Home, 141 Epping Road, Exeter, NH, Tuesday at 11 AM. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited and may visit with the family at the funeral home, Monday from 5-8 PM. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to SCARF (Samoyed Club of America education and Research Foundation) 183 Wieri Rd., Woodland, WA 98674. Burial will be private.
