Bruce Allen Clark






Bruce Allen Clark, 74, passed away Sunday, July 31st, 2016. Bruce was born on December 23rd, 1941, in Beverly, Mass. He was the son of John Clark and Barbara (White) Clark. He was married to the love of his life, Margaret (Peggy) Clark, for 53 years.

Bruce graduated from Danvers High School, where he excelled at football. Bruce also attended Newman Prep and Coyne Electrical School before starting a 40 year career at General Electric in Lynn, MA where he most recently served as Manager of the Aircraft Engine Group. During his time at GE he was the recipient of two Meritorious Service awards, made many lifelong friendships and was best known for his excellent work ethic and his amazing positive attitude.

Bruce was a prolific reader and loved to garden and spend time with his family. He loved acting and singing and was a member of the North Shore Players theater group for 25 years. He was also very active with the Boy Scouts of America where he was a long time Scout Master and past President of the Danvers Council.

He is survived by his wife Peggy, whom he adored, and his daughter Lisa Parsons, and her husband Bradley Parsons of Kensington NH; his son David Clark and his wife Kristen Clark of East Kingston NH, his brother Douglas Clark and wife Elizabeth Clark; brothers Robert Clark and Dana Clark; sisters Janet Edmunds and Donna Carusi; three grandchildren Tyler Clark, Camden Parsons and Brooke Parsons.

In keeping with Bruce’s wishes the service will be private. Donations can be made to the Boy Scouts of America.
