Barrington – Gail Peabody Chase, 83, of Barrington died Sunday, December 13, 2015 in Epping of heart failure.

She was born May 8, 1932 in Beverly, MA the daughter of the late Myron F. and Olive P. (Hunter) Peabody.

Mrs Chase received her bachelor’s degree from Boston University and worked for the State of New Hampshire as a Child Welfare Worker and the last 28 years as a Probation Officer.

She was the widow of Kendall Chase.

Family members include her brother, Myron F. Peabody, II, her niece, Karen A. Kowalski, her two nephews, Scott Peabody and Philip R. Peabody, twelve great nieces and nephews, her aunt Josephine Spates, her grandson, Pastor Kevin A. Chase.

She was predeceased by her grand niece, Leslie Peabody and her nephew, Myron Peabody, III.

Services will be held at the Pine Grove Cemetery, Barrington, NH, Saturday at 10 AM. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to World Life, 1250 Twenty Fourth Street, N.W. Washington, D.C. 20037.
