Stratham – Margaret L. Caverno, 93, of Stratham died Wednesday, August 5, 2015 at her home.

She was born December 25, 1921 in Exeter, NH the daughter of the late William and Anna (Jackson) McLane.

A lifelong resident of Stratham, Mrs. Caverno attended Exeter schools and was very involved in the Stratham community church, volunteering at the Clothes Attic, Unity club of the church.

She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother and friend who enjoyed spending time with her family, sewing and gardening.

She was predeceased by her husband, Albert Caverno, Jr. in 1981.

Family members include her children, Nancy Gilbert, Albert D. Caverno, III , Kenneth A. Caverno, Thomas W. Caverno, Timothy D. Caverno, 12 grandchildren, many great grandchildren and several great great grandchildren and one great great great grandchild.

Services and burial in the Maple Lane Cemetery, Stratham were private. Arrangements are by the Stockbridge Funeral Home, Exeter.
