Annette W. Carter
Stratham – Annette W. Carter, 75, of Stratham died January 1, 2012 at her home.
She was born October 6, 1936 in Lewiston, ME the daughter of the late Cyrus and Edna (Richardson) Wardwell.
She was a graduate of Robinson Female Seminary in 1955 and was a member of the National Honor Society, she attended Boston Stenotype Institute working as a secretary for Exeter Manufacturing Company in Exeter for many years.
She also was the Bookkeeper for her husband’s business Carter Masonry.
Mrs. Carter served on the Board of Adjustment in Stratham and also as a Ballot Clerk for many years.
Family members include her loving husband of 50 years, Dudley E. Carter, Sr., her daughter, Heather Goodwin, two stepsons, Dennis Carter and his wife, Donna, Dudley Carter, Jr. and his wife, Judy, seven grandchildren, Samantha Tremell and husband, Noah, Charles Carter and his wife Shannon, Justin Kressler, Aubrey Kessler, Ashley Carter, Ryan Carter and Joshua Carter, four great grandchildren, Dakota Carter, Jordan Carter, Alahna Tremell and Avah Tremell, her sister, Carolyn Dow, her brother, Gordon Warwell and his wife, Judy. Also survived by many nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by a stepson, Duncan Carter and a sister, Joan Clement.
At her request there will be no services. Assistance with the arrangements was by the Stockbridge Funeral Home, Exeter.
