Pamela M.R. Callahan
Exeter- Pamela M.R. Callahan, 78, of Exeter passed on Thursday, April 4, 2013 at Massachusetts General Hospital, Boston.
She was born January 13, 1935 in Ely, England the daughter of the late Fred and Ellen May (Ward) Peters.
Mrs. Callahan moved to the United States in 1954 and had resided in Exeter for many years. She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother. She enjoyed Collecting Bears, knitting and was an avid Red Sox and Patriots Fan.
Family members include her husband of 60 years, John J. Callahan of Exeter, her children, William E. Callahan and his wife, Caron of Exeter, John P. Callahan and his wife, Rose of Staten Island, NY, Catherine T. Parkhurst and her husband, Rick of Sumter, SC, her grandchildren, Jennifer, Elizabeth, Daniel, Meghan, Benjamin, her great grandchildren, Kayleigh, Luke, William Beckett and Mary Holland, her brother, William Peters and his wife, Beryl of England.
Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to visit with the family at the Stockbridge Funeral Home, 141 Epping Road, Exeter on Monday from 5-8 PM. Funeral services will be private. Burial will be in the New Hampshire Veterans Cemetery, Boscawen. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Jimmy Fund, 10 Brookline Place West, 6th Floor, Brookline, MA 02445-7295.
