Betty L. Bolduc
Fremont – Betty L. Bolduc, 85, of Fremont, passed away peacefully on Thursday, September 17, 2015 at the Exeter Hospital with loving and devoted family at her bedside.
She was born in Fremont on February 23, 1930, a daughter of the late Jesse and Mabel (Holmes) Burleigh.
Betty was raised in Fremont. She married Leo J. Bolduc in 1946 and the young couple settled in the family homestead on Main Street in Fremont to raise their family. As their family grew, so did their home, and Betty was able to live out her entire life in the same beloved house. She worked for a short time at the Spaulding and Frost Barrel Factory before becoming a stay at home Mom. Family was always her top priority and she devoted her life to her husband, her children and her grandchildren. She loved the outdoors and enjoyed teaching her children how to hunt, fish and ice skate. A kid at heart, Betty stayed young by going sledding with and hiking with her grandchildren. She was a kind, caring and hardworking women and she will be dearly missed by her family and friends.
She was a lifelong parishioner of the People’s United Methodist Church in Fremont.
Betty is survived by her children, David L. Bolduc and his wife, Elaine of Deerfield, Ricky J. Bolduc and his wife Debbie of Raymond and Lisa Mauriello and her husband, Peter of Exeter. She also leaves her grandchildren, David Bolduc, Jr. and his wife Carla of Weare and Eric J. and Matthew A. Bolduc of Raymond; her great grandchildren, Gracie-Ella & Addison Bolduc; her brother, Richard Burleigh and his companion, Kathy of Brentwood and her sisters, Phyllis Bolduc of Raymond, Barbara Robinson and her husband Maurice of Fremont and Sally Richards and her husband Harry of Raymond.
In addition to her parents, Betty was predeceased by the love of her life and husband of over 43 years, Leo J. Bolduc who died in 1989; her brothers, William and Robert Burleigh and her sisters, Blanche Bernier, Shirley Letourneau and Florence Hall.
Services will be held at 11 AM on Thursday, September 24, 2015 at the People’s United Methodist Church, 408 Main St., Fremont. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited. Burial will be private. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial donations to the American Heart Association, 20 Speen St., Framingham, MA 01701-4688.
