Sharon E. Boe






Newfields – Sharon E. Boe, 69, of Newfields died February 17, 2016 at her home surrounded by her family.

She was born in New Jersey, July 29, 1946 the daughter of the late William and Elizabeth (Anderson) Shaw.

Sharon was raised in New York and resided there until 2000 when she moved to Newfields. While in New York she was a member of the church choir at St. John’s Church. A homemaker, she enjoyed singing and painting and crocheting and baking. She helped the elderly, volunteered for the church and schools and for Girls Scouts. Sharon loved American History, especillay the Civil War, Abraham Lincoln and Joshua Chamberlin and enjoyed traveling to historic landmarks her favorite was Gettysburg.

Family members include her husband of 49 years, Olav L. Boe, her children, David L. Boe and his wife, Americris, Mandy Matthews and her husband, Alan and Audra Anderson, her brothers, William Shaw, Jr., Robert Shaw and her sister, Marie Southworth, her grandchildren, Mandee, Rebecka, James, Daniel and Xhyril.

A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at St. Michael Church, corner of Front and Lincoln Streets, Exeter, Saturday at 10 AM. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited and may visit with the family Friday from 6 - 8 PM at the Stockbridge Funeral Home, 141 Epping Road, Exeter. Burial will be private.
