Jean Barr Bliss
Jean Barr Bliss born March 9, 1930 in Boston, MA.
She was pre-deceased by husband Richard Taylor Bliss. Survived by her loving children; Craig Bliss of Carbondale, CO, Wendy Jolie (husband John) of Chester, NH, Kim Parent (husband Ed) of Epping NH, Heidi Bliss (husband Laurence Coronis) of Wilton,NH and grandchildren Derek and Brad Jolie, Brianna Parent and 4 great grandchildren.
Jean always put her family first and treated all with loving kindness. It is a known fact that she never raised her voice. She had an infectious giggle and always a smile on her face. Jean graduated from a secretarial college on the Fenway in Boston and met her husband on Craigville Beach after WWII.
Together they ran Bliss Construction on Cape Cod for many years. Jean worked for the selectman at the town hall on Main Street in Hyannis in the 70s and she loved that job and the people there. She loved the sun and the beaches of Cape Cod as well as her flower gardens.
In lieu of flowers, please make donations to Alzheimer's research at.Alzfdn.org. Burial will be in the New Hampshire Veteran’s Cemetery, Boscawen, NH, Wednesday, July 6, 2017 at 11 am.
