Elizabeth Blanchette
Exeter – Elizabeth Blanchette, 87, of Exeter died Tuesday, December 20, 2011, at the Exeter Hospital.
She was born September 2, 1924, in Exeter, NH, the daughter of the late Joseph and Catherine (Suska) Wiscarva and was a life long resident of Exeter.
Betty was a graduate of Robinson Female Seminary and worked for many years at the Exeter Newsletter.
She was a communicant of St. Michael Roman Catholic Church/Parish and was a member of the Catholic Order of Foresters of America and the American Association of Retired Persons. She enjoyed gardening, traveling, walking and ballroom dancing.
Family members include her daughter, Sandra Arndt, and husband, John, of MA; her daughter, Judith Pelletier, of FL; her son, Bob Blanchette, and his wife, Jayne, of CO and four grandchildren. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at St. Michael Church, corner of Lincoln and Front Streets, Exeter, Friday, January 6, 2012, at 10:30 AM. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited. Burial will be in the Exeter Cemetery.
