Helen Benedetto
Exeter – Helen L. Benedetto, 88, of Exeter died Sunday, April 28, 2013 at the Community Hospice House, Merrimack, NH.
She was born June 2, 1924 in Revere, MA a daughter of the late Agrippino and Antonetta (Alagata) Padova.
Mrs. Benedetto was raised in Revere and was schooled there. A homemaker, she lived in Kensington and Exeter for most of her life. She and her husband ran the Benedetto Farm in Kensington.
She was a communicant of St. Michael’s Church, Exeter, a volunteer at the Main Street School, and was awarded for her help with the Champion for Children award. She was a volunteer for the St. Michael’s Christmas Fair running the White Elephant Table and a volunteer for the Lamprey Senior Bus. She was a member of the Society of the Little Flower.
She was the wife of the late Amedeen P. Benedetto who died in 1993.
Family members include a son, Nicholas J. Benedetto of Hernden, VA a daughter, Bernnadette Eaton and her husband, Brian of North Sutton, three grandchildren, Laura Eaton, Diana Eaton and Dominic Benedetto, a brother, Louis Padova of Revere, MA a sister, Gloria Cullia of Chelsea, MA, several nieces and nephews.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Michael’s Church, Front Street, Exeter, Wednesday at 10 AM. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited and may call at the Stockbridge Funeral Home, 141 Epping Road, Exeter, Tuesday from 4-7 PM. Burial will be in Forrest Glade Cemetery, Wakefield, MA.
