Matthew J. Bencze
Kingston – Matthew J. Bencze, 37, of Kingston died Friday, May 29, 2015.
Matt was born in Bridgeport, CT. He was raised in Hampton, NH and a graduate of Winnacunnet High School. In his youth he was a star athlete, an accomplished baseball player reaching prominence in AAU baseball. He worked in the construction business for many years and currently was working for the Helfrich Bros. Boiler Works in Lawrence, MA. Matt was an extremely dedicated and hard worker who took pride in everything he did.
He was a devoted family man who spent many hours supporting his children’s activities at the pool, baseball and soccer fields and school events. His children were his pride and joy and he would often be seen enthusiastically cheering them on. When he wasn’t working or spending time with his children, he did extensive renovations to the family home.
He was an avid outdoorsman who enjoyed hunting, fishing, and hiking with his dog Nike. He had many great stories of those adventures which he liked to share.
Matt is survived by his wife, Amy E. (Fowler) Bencze, his children, Elizabeth and Ethan, his mother, Patricia Jastermsky, father John Bencze, sister Danielle Bencze and many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews. Matt was loved by all and will be greatly missed.
A celebration of his life will be held at the Stockbridge Funeral Home, 141 Epping Road, Exeter, Tuesday June 2nd. Visiting hours begin at 5:00 PM for relatives and friends with the celebration of his life to follow at 7 pm. Burial will be private.
