Sally Lee (Haight) Beers








Sally Lee (Haight) Beers, 63, of Exeter, NH passed away following a prolonged illness due to complications from diabetes, on January 10, 2016, at Lawrence General Hospital in Lawrence, MA.

She was born September 16, 1952in Nashua, NH, a daughter of the late Eugene Frederick and Faythe (Foster) Haight.

She grew up in Nashua, NH and then Kingston, NH before moving to Exeter in 1971.

Sally graduated from Sanborn Regional High School in Kingston, NH in 1970. Sally attended Keene State College and worked towards a degree in Education. Later in life, Sally returned to college to pursue an accounting degree. Sally worked for many years in accounting for Omni Hotels, Timberland, and Waste Management.

Sally was a loving wife, mother, and sister with a very big heart who loved children and whose family and friends meant everything to her. Kind and generous in spirit, Sally would do anything for her family and friends. Her deep faith in God was an important part of her life. In addition to spending time with her family, Sally enjoyed books, movies, crafts, puzzles, and games, especially Bridge.

Sally is predeceased by her husband of 40 years, Wayne. Sally is survived by her daughter Tammi Lamar of North Conway, NH; her brother Dean Haight of Deerfield, NH, brother Scott Haight of Exeter, NH, and her sister Kendra Kratkiewicz of Shirley, MA; her aunt Sally (Foster) Parsons of Keene, NH; her grandchildren Tyler, Ashley, and Aaron;as well as nieces and nephews Christopher, Arcadia, and Carter.

Services to be held at the Stockbridge Funeral Home, 141 Epping Road, Exeter, NH on January 21st from 5 PM - 7 PM.Calling hours will take place from 5 PM - 6:30 PM. A memorial service will follow from 6:30 PM - 7 PM. A private family graveside service will be held at a later date.

In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to benefit Type II diabetes research through the Joslin DiabetesCenter @ http://www.joslin.org. Donations may also be made to the Boston Crusaders Drum & Bugle Corps @ http://bostoncrusaders.org/memorial-gifts.
