Wayne Francis Bean (Beane) of Lee, NH husband of Brenda Shepard Beane, passed away peacefully on September 5, 2016 at Exeter Hospital surrounded by his family and close friends.

Wayne was born to parents Carl Clifford Bean and Christine Margaret Babine Bean on March 24, 1941 in Peterborough NH. He was raised in Amesbury Massachusetts where he attended Amesbury High School and was the ninth of ten children.

He was a proud veteran and active duty member of the US Army 101st Airborne Division between the years 1961 - 1964. Upon leaving the Army Wayne settled in East Kingston, NH with his former wife Betty Ann Beane (currently of Exeter, NH) where they began their plumbing business Beane Mechanical Contractors. Later in life Wayne made his home in Lee, NH with his current wife and family.

Besides his wife Brenda, Wayne is survived by his four children, Jeffrey W. Beane and wife Colleen Beane of Exeter NH, Scott R. Beane and husband Douglas Schaejbe of Lynn, MA, Eric P. Beane and wife Stephanie Beane of Kensington NH ,and Shelby Shepard Beane of Lee NH, his cherished grandchildren Samantha, Danielle, Dylan, Cierra, Skylar, Cody, Nicholas and Alicia, his sister Mrs. Nancy Arsenault and husband James of Amesbury, MA, two sisters in law Pauline Beane and May Beane, along with many loving nieces, nephews cousins and lifelong friends.

He is predeceased by eight siblings; Eleanor Beane Russell, Junior Clifford Beane, Lorraine Beane LePage, Marie Beane Ouelette, Edgar Beane, Donald Beane, Muriel Beane Cyniewski, and Jeannette Beane Edwards.

Calling hours will be on September 15, 2016 from 6 pm - 8 pm with a celebration of life service at 8:00 PM at Stockbridge Funeral Home, 141 Epping Rd, Exeter NH. We hope all family, friends and anyone Wayne touched during his lifetime will come celebrate his life with us.
