Peter L. Baillargeon
Exeter – Peter L. Baillargeon, 58, of Exeter died suddenly Monday, September 23, 2013 in Carol Stream, IL.
A lifelong resident he was born here June 22, 1955 the son of Joseph A. Baillargeon, Sr. of Exeter and the late Virginia (Larkin) Baillargeon.
Peter was raised in Exeter and was a graduate of Exeter High School. He drove truck all of his life, first for the Nuclear Power Plant in Seabrook and for most of his career he did long distance driving for Clark & Reid Moving Company for 30 years and most recently for Crete-Schafer Trucking. He received his million mile safe driving award.
He was a devoted father and grandfather and enjoyed spending time with his family. He enjoyed bicycling, old cars and was always there to help a friend or stranger in need. He could tell great stories and had the gift to gab.
He was predeceased by his wife, Vicki Harpold Baillargeon and his son, Joshua Baillargeon.
In addition to his father, family members include his children, Angelique Kaufmann and her husband, Kevin of Newfields, Benjamin J. Baillargeon and his girlfriend, Keri of Exeter and Ian L. Baillargeon and his girlfriend, Stephanie and their dog, Clyde of Newmarket, his siblings, Michelle Small and her husband, Charlie, Joseph A. Baillargeon and his wife, Gloria of Exeter, Mark A. Baillargeon and his wife, Elizabeth of Newmarket and Roger E. Baillargeon and his wife, Barbara of Stratham, his grandchildren, Eve Lynn Kaufman and Rowen Lee Kaufman, Cadence Bogrett, also survived by his father in law, James Harpold of MI and his mother in law, Patricia Harpold of Ellwood City, PA and many extended family and friends.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Michael Church, corner of Front and Lincoln Streets, Exeter, Monday at 11 AM. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited and may visit with the family Sunday from 3-6 PM at the Stockbridge Funeral Home, 141 Epping Road, Exeter. Burial will follow in the Exeter Cemetery, Exeter. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the family in there time of need.
