Andre L. Allard


Hampton - Andre L. Allard, 89, of Hampton died at  his home on Saturday, September 25, 2010.

He was born August 7, 1921 in Fall River, MA the son of the late Edmond and Regina (Ledoux) Allard.

Mr. Allard was a graduate of the University of New Hampshire with his degree in Economics . He served in the US Army in North Africa and Europe during WWII and then the U.S. Air Force during the Korean War, retiring in 1958.  He was a produce manager for several area grocery chains.

He enjoyed astronomy, mineral collecting, reading, history, photography and  spending time with family and friends

He was the husband of Barbara E. (Robinson) Allard.

Family members include his sons, Stephen Allard of Brockton, MA and Robert Allard of Newmarket, four grandchildren, his brothers, Bertrand Allard of Naples, Fl and Omer Allard of San Antonio, TX, his sister, Colette Monast of Wareham, MA and dozens of beloved nieces and nephews.

Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at St. Michael's Church, corner of Front and Lincoln Streets, Exeter, NH   on Wed Sept 29th at 10 AM.  Relatives and friends are respectfully invited.  The family requests no visiting hours. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Rockingham VNA/Hospice, 137 Epping Road, Exeter, NH  03833 or charity of choice.  Burial will be in the Exeter Cemetery.
